Everyone at southern maine ortho has been so friendly, patient and kind to me and my child. I appreciate that they speak directly to him, and take the time to answer both of our questions thoroughly. We are so impressed with our experience so far!

This is my second time around getting braces–well, invisalign– and my 3rd Orthodontics office since I was a teen. I have never had such a great experience as I have with SMO and Dr. Murphy. Everyone takes their time to explain things thoroughly and treats every patient so well. I have full confidence moving forward with my Invisalign journey thanks to everyone at SMO.

I would recommend Southern Maine Orthodontics to everyone! I was a bit hesitant coming in for orthodontic work as an adult, but Dr. Murphy and his team made the whole process easy and natural from start to finish. I am so happy with the results!
I would also recommend this practice for families. They have an extensive reward system and contests throughout year, held a drive-in movie night, and go above and beyond to make kids feel special when getting off their braces. -
The 3D impressions were awesome! This technology took so much anxiety out of the process.
We are so happy with our choice to treat our children at Dr. Howard's office. The staff is amazing! We tell everyone, it's the only place to go!

We are so happy that we chose Dr.Lisa Howard and staff to treat our daughter Ella. We were a bit worried about treatment for our daughter because she struggles with anxiety and is sensitive to discomfort. Dr. Howard and her staff have made Ella's orthodontic experience comfortable and enjoyable. Ella doesn't worry about going, in fact, she looks forward to her visits! We have felt very informed, supported and encouraged through the entire process. We would highly recommend Dr. Howard to anyone looking for an incredible orthodontist and positive experience. I expect we will be seeing this office for many years to some, as our second child is on her way to her own orthodontic journey!
Wow....have to admit I was a bit nervous at the beginning of this journey! Almost one year later, I feel so encouraged and happy with the amazing changes this incredible group of people have contributed to and made. Having total confidence in and respect for Dr. Lisa Howard, she and her wonderful "crew" deserve praise for their professionalism, level of competence and happy environment! I actually look forward to my visits and enjoy so much the comfortable and supportive feel everyone exhibits. Thanks to you all!
